Back To School 2008

Dear Fellow Kingdom Builders,

The time is fast approaching for our children to return for another school year. The Windsor Village Church Family will be hosting its 3rd Annual Back to School Celebration on Saturday, August 16, 2008 from 11a.m. - 3p.m. at the KBC.

The theme for this year's celebration is "We Gather to Scatter", taken from Ecclesiastes 3:5.

The week preceding the event will be a time of much preparation, as we are planning to serve 1000 families. We need plenty of volunteers to get the job done in as an effective and efficient manner as possible.

The Missions Ministry will be sorting and doing inventory on all the school supplies collected, in order to distribute them for the event. We will meet Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, Aug. 10-11th, and 14-15th at the KBC from 6p.m. - 8:30p.m in the administrative room upstairs. Thursday and Friday will be the days most needed for voulunteers to sort and bag school supplies to the corresponding grade levels. Also, we will move everything from upstairs to the Great Room, downstairs on Friday, the 15th. Please make room on your calendars to help make this a blessing for our children.
